(LIBITEC), adapting to the need and demands of an increasingly competitive market, has an Integrated Management System for Quality, Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety at Work and R+D+i (based on the corresponding ISO Standards); expressly expressing its sensitivity to the explicit and implicit needs of the same, bringing into play all the human and material resources necessary to increase safety at work, reduce technological risks, providing development capacity for better competitive positioning, with emphasis on developments with a high impact on the market.

Adapting to the market needs for second generation raw materials and the regulatory requirements in legal aspects, Linares Biodiesel Technology S.L. (LIBITEC), has:
- Authorisation as “Processing plant for animal by-products not intended form human consumption” (SANDACH authorization to process animal fats);
- Registration in the Register for the recovery of non-hazardous oily waste (Authorised Waste Management)
- In December 2023, LIBITEC was approved by the US Environmental Agency (EPA) for Registration as a renewable fuel producer under de Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) programme.
According to the Renewable Energy Directive 2009/28/EC as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/1513 (RED), and the Fuel Quality Directive 2009/30/EC as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/1513 (FQD) for all EU Member States, all the sustainability criteria that fuels must meet are defined, as well as those sustainability verification systems under which companies can be certified. These include the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), which is valid worldwide (not only in Europe). It is in this system that LIBITEC is certified: ISCC-EU Certification.
In addition, a specific certificate is available to access the specific Italian market: NIS Certification (National Italian Scheme).
LIBITEC as a Mult feedstock manufacturing plant has access to feedstocks considered as waste-waste. Due to this, it has joined and is a member of EWABA (European Waste and Advanced Biofuels Association), which represents the interests of the waste biofuels industry at European level.
